Cotton fabrics. Machine-quilted.

This project was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest, but once all the individual blocks were assembled they marched off in a different direction. Hand-quilted the layers together with embroidery floss, a technique I've used on several other quilts, but for some reason on this quilt the batting came through onto both the front and the back and this was unattractive. Ironing did not calm things down. Picked out every stitch and machine-quilted instead.
