Cotton fabrics, origami paper, metallic thread. Fusible web appliqué collage.
Did this project backwards and made the entire quilt first (layers, pillowcase seams, ironing, hanging sleeve). Then, when I had a completed pressed quilt with nothing on it, started adding the paper and fabric scenery from background to foreground. This was much easier than doing the quilt top first. Embroidered through all three layers.
